The Girl

An Italian dual-citizen who paid for her BFA Theater Performance degree by scholarship won in The Miss America Org as a 1st Runner-Up Winner (and Swimsuit and Congeniality...). She has dedicated most of her life to volunteering--from her own platform "Loud & Sound: Speaking out for Mental Illness" to creating training programs for volunteers in behavioral health centers to being a weekly volunteer in emergency rooms, establishing and leading music programs in nursing homes and teaching improv for people experiencing homelessness (she went through UCB's training program herself and was a member of The Spaghettos Improv Group in NYC). Qualifying for Mensa at 15, she was the youngest graduate of Fordham College at Lincoln Center with summa cum laude status in the honors program, became a trained pilot and a black belt martial artist.

The Performer

She found her place early in equity theater, doing musicals since age four and then being classically trained as a teenager. She worked her way up through the ranks, performing in theaters on Broadway to tours, winning "Best Actress in a Musical" Spotlight Awards for her Éponine in "Les Misérables" and also her Belle in "Beauty and the Beast." She simultaneously worked her way up as a musician and singer performing on stages from Carnegie Hall to mainstage Vegas, and receiving the honor of "Female Gospel Vocalist of the Year" by the CMA. When Covid hit, she fully switched gears toward the on-camera world as an actor and VO artist and can be seen and heard on networks from the Cartoon Network to her most recent work on ION Television.

WHAT'S NEXT

"I used to be so stressed about needing to book the next show before the current show closed that I lost gratitude for the moment I was in and the gift of being able to perform and share my truths in the space and time I was granted. Having a near-death experience quickly flipped that mentality on its head! Who knows what's next! Especially for performers. But we have TODAY. And today we can do our best, hope for the best and prepare for the best. A former student at Ivana Chubbuck Studios, Margie Haber Studios, John Rosenfeld Studios, and many other wonderful teachers throughout my career, I am currently training (and loving!) the Mornell Method with Sara Mornell. I'm slated to be filming a series in the Midwest for the 2023 season but even if it's just for five minutes in an audition, I hold every second of being able to share myself as an actor with so much love, I could burst! From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has allowed me to continue on this crazy, unpredictable, beautiful journey."

What Others Say

"There are clichés abound about someone being the so-called “light of the room,” but clichés only exist if they capture the truth better than anything else ever could. It applies here. Wherever she is, Linzi is not only the light; everyone else seems caught in her orbit."

"Pipes of steel and an overall powerhouse of an actress."

"When she came onstage for her bow, the audience seemed shocked to see her walking as a fully able-bodied person, so believable her portrayal was in this role."

"As a music industry professional for the past 43 years, best known for having discovered Stefani Germanotta (Lady GaGa) and Lizzy Grant (Lana Del Rey), and also for working with thousands of artists during my 18 years as the national projects director for the Songwriters Hall of Fame, I can truthfully say that Linzi is one of the most gifted and versatile singers and actresses I have had the pleasure of watching perform. She is also one of the hardest-working, dedicated, devoted and determined people I've ever met in the entertainment industry. I am very grateful to have met and worked with her, and look forward to continue doing so for many years to come."

"I saw Linzi perform a comical soliloquy at The Hudson Theatre and she was so insanely funny and sexy that I immediately cast her in my upcoming movie, Giant Girl."

On-Camera Work

From the CW Network to feature films, she has used her high voice and feigned naïvete as comic weapons and used her grounding presence for dramatic strength.
